Engine Techwin has been selected for a research project under the 2022 first-half open call for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) technological innovation initiatives. The details of the project are as follows:
Title: Development of Technology for CO2 Capture and Storage from Landfill Gas (LFG) and Enhancement of Power Generation Efficiency
Duration: April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2024
This project will be carried out in collaboration with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Inha University. Since landfill gas contains significant amounts of CO2, this research aims to capture and store the carbon dioxide, thereby increasing the methane concentration in the landfill gas and improving power generation efficiency. Given that carbon dioxide is a primary greenhouse gas, the technology developed through this project is expected to serve as an innovative solution with broad applications across various industries.
