On April 5, Engine Techwin developed and launched a 40kW DME-fueled generator. The unit is designed to be highly eco-friendly, featuring an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system to minimize nitrogen oxides (NOx), as well as a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) to reduce carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC). By utilizing DME—an environmentally friendly fuel—the generator reduces fine particulate matter emissions by more than 90% compared to diesel-powered alternatives. It is expected to be a significant asset for farms, as it can simultaneously provide a power supply and carbon dioxide (CO2) for agricultural use.
